Create an Instagram Account

  1. Open Instagram Sign Up
  2. Enter your email, full name, and choose a username
  3. Set a password and complete sign up
  4. Upload a profile picture — use one of your AI photos!

Switch to Business Account

  1. Open Instagram and go to your Profile
  2. Tap the menu (≡) → Settings and privacy
  3. Tap Account type and tools → Switch to professional account
  4. Choose Creator (recommended) or Business
  5. Select a category like "Digital Creator" or "Model"
  6. Complete the setup — you can skip optional steps
Why? Instagram only allows auto-posting to Business or Creator accounts. Personal accounts don't support it.

Create a Facebook Page

  1. Open Create Facebook Page
  2. Enter a Page name (use your name or a brand name)
  3. Choose category: "Digital Creator" or "Model"
  4. Click Create Page
You need a Facebook Page because Instagram's posting API works through Facebook. You don't need to use Facebook — it's just a technical requirement.

Link Instagram to Facebook Page

  1. On your Facebook Page, click Settings (bottom left)
  2. Go to Linked accounts or Instagram
  3. Click Connect account
  4. Log in to Instagram and authorize the connection
  5. You should see your Instagram username appear as "Connected"
This is the most important step — it links your Instagram to your Facebook Page so we can post on your behalf.

Confirm Business/Creator Account

Your Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account (not Personal).

Check: Instagram → Profile → Edit profile — if you see "Switch to personal account", you're already on Business/Creator.

If you're on Personal: Settings → Account type and tools → Switch to professional account

Connect Facebook Page

▾

Your Instagram must be linked to a Facebook Page. This is how Instagram's auto-posting API works.

  1. If you don't have a Facebook Page: Create One
  2. On your Facebook Page Settings → Linked accounts → Connect Instagram
If your Instagram is already linked to a Facebook Page, you can skip this step.
